About this pilot and your privacy
This first pilot practices introductions. You can follow the conversation into your own interests. The 40-category selector and saved personal-answer coaching will follow after this live experience has been tested.
Spoken turns are sent to OpenAI for transcription. Conversation text is sent to OpenAI for replies, and the buddy’s words go to ElevenLabs to make speech. Provider retention follows the connected accounts’ settings. This pilot keeps conversation history only in this open page; Language Link’s application database stores request counters, not recordings or conversation text.
Recording runs only during your turn. Your microphone is muted during processing, playback, coaching and pauses. End Chat releases it. Headphones can help prevent background sound from entering the conversation. A 90-second recording cap prevents accidental long uploads; there is no timer on silent thinking. Feedback describes wording and meaning, not an assessment of pronunciation or rhythm.
Daily operating limits apply. This pilot does not yet implement individual purchase allowances. No paid services run until the server is configured and enabled.
